High School

5 Steps Academy is an approved K-12 school, endorsed by both Cambridge International and the US College Board. With a level II approval, we have the privilege to conduct SAT and AP (US stream) and IGCSE and A-level (UK stream) exams on our campus in Singapore. This allows our students to receive their results through the school and apply to universities worldwide.

Our High School program commences from Grade 9, and students can opt for Grades 11 and 12 with the recommendation of our Academic Board. We follow the US College Board standards (US stream) or the Cambridge Assessment International Education standards (UK stream) to issue the High School Certificate, which is globally accepted by almost all universities. It is equivalent to the higher IB and A-level.

For Cambridge IGSCE and A-levels certificates, students need to complete all Grade 10 subject exams and at least five IGCSE subject exams in Grade 10 to receive the Certificate of Completion. Students can choose to complete their education with IGCSE or move to 5 Steps High School. In Grades 11 and 12, they must opt for at least five IGCSE subjects for Cambridge certification and appear for the Cambridge IGCSE tests on the school campus.

The US stream students must choose at least five subjects, including mandatory courses like AP English Language and Composition and AP Calculus or AP Statistics. Pre-Calculus and Health modules are compulsory for all students. We recommend that academically strong students take SAT, APs, and A-levels to improve their transcripts’ quality.

Our selective 5 Steps High School Program targets students aged 14-18, and admission is subject to approval by the 5 Steps Academic Board. Our school’s reputation and endorsement by the US College Board and Cambridge International make our High School Certificate recognized worldwide, providing ample opportunities for students to apply for any university worldwide.
